Hi smithys,
Thought i would show you a hammer i made before chrissy.
I made it as a retiment presant for a friend , hes been a full time
proffessional smithy for 40 years now and just decided to retire .

Steel is 1045 , used a half inch pointed punch to make the hole through from both sides
then a couple of drifts to open up to final size ,
i selectively hardend both ends ,

A little engraving and inlaying to set it off .
Hope you like .
